Linum Consult’s client is part of a multinational Tier 1 main contractor – a world leader in civil and structural engineering, currently seeking to expand their UK operations. They are looking for a Site Manager with expertise in civil engineering to join their team on infrastructure construction projects across London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with the Project/Contracts Manager to plan and deliver project tasks and outcomes in accordance with the construction schedule
- Supervising the construction of a project or one section of a project
- Compiling all site records, including detailed allocation sheets/ site diaries, photo logs, plant & labour returns, as-built drawing mark-ups, production schedules, ITP, and other quality documents
- Ensuring all works are coordinated to be delivered efficiently
- Ensuring the safety, quality and environmental objectives are met
- Managing a team of local workers
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Around 5-8 years’ experience on major civil engineering projects, ideally with some exposure to post-tensioning or pre-stressed concrete works
- It is essential that you have strong engineering skills and a proven ability to think laterally
- The right to live and work in the UK
