Linum Consult’s client is working on a major rail project in the Baltics. They are currently in need of a Senior Railway Systems Expert to join their team in Latvia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the RAMS policy implementation on the Rail Baltica project
- Supporting the review of the RAMS documentation provided by the different stakeholders on the Rail Baltica project
- Preparing the overall railway system Safety Case
- Preparing the railway system Safety verification and validation plan documentation for the project
- Providing technical expertise during the AsBo evaluation concerning the Risk Management process
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or similar
- At least 15 years’ experience in the railway industry, developing and implementing at least one of the railway systems: infrastructure, command and control, energy
- Worked as part of the supplier organisation, railway engineering services, or infrastructure management safety division
- Significant work experience in risk analysis using implementation methods such as PHA, functional hazards analysis, SIL analysis, FMEA, HAZOP, HRA applied for rail systems defined above
- Ideally have significant work experience in RAM qualitative/quantitative analysis
- Ideally have knowledge of the EU directives 796, 797, 798 and EU Regulation 402
- The right to live and work in the EU
