Linum Consult’s client is part of a multinational Tier 1 main contractor – a world leader in structural engineering, currently seeking to expand their UK operations. They are urgently looking for a Project Manager specialising in Civil Engineering to join their team on a post-tensioning project in London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the installation of a series of new post-tensioning cables on an existing bridge
- Directing a team of Engineers to achieve completion of tasks within budget, to quality standards and to all technical specifications
- Promoting job site safety to strongly encourage safe work practices and to immediately take all necessary actions to prevent job site hazards
- Attending and leading important site meetings
- Reporting all progress and output of your own teams and suppliers to senior management
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline
- Professional Health & Safety Qualification (CSCS Black card & SMSTS minimum)
- Strong experience in the operational management of projects gained from a specialist contracting environment
- Excellent technical knowledge of post-tensioning and bridge strengthening works
