Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Procurement Specialist with a background in automotive dealerships or repair shops to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with the director and Procurement Manager to provide required support for the preparation of budgets and annual business plans, etc.
- Preparing reports and conducting data analysis to monitor procurement performance
- Providing supplier data to the Procurement Department as required
- Obtaining and updating vendor data from relevant publications and/or sources
- Suggesting and developing new ways of improving and delivering the procurement processes
- Acting as the support focal point for selected customers for their procurement compliance requirements
- Proposing and setting proper controls with systems including ERP and other procurement systems
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or similar field, and ideally certified with CIPS
- 5 years’ experience in procurement roles within the automotive industry, specifically dealerships or repair shops
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office and SAP
- Strong commercial acumen, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ideally have a background of working in the Middle East
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
