Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Procurement Specialist with a background in automotive dealerships or repair shops to join their team in Qatar.


  • Working with the director and Procurement Manager to provide required support for the preparation of budgets and annual business plans, etc.
  • Preparing reports and conducting data analysis to monitor procurement performance
  • Providing supplier data to the Procurement Department as required
  • Obtaining and updating vendor data from relevant publications and/or sources
  • Suggesting and developing new ways of improving and delivering the procurement processes
  • Acting as the support focal point for selected customers for their procurement compliance requirements
  • Proposing and setting proper controls with systems including ERP and other procurement systems


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or similar field, and ideally certified with CIPS
  • 5 years’ experience in procurement roles within the automotive industry, specifically dealerships or repair shops
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Strong commercial acumen, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ideally have a background of working in the Middle East
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
