Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction consultancy. They are currently seeking a Manager to oversee their Operational Excellence Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing and updating policies, processes, and procedures, quality assurance, continuous improvement, risk management, training, and project monitoring and reporting
- Develop and ratify department operating structures and department operating processes & procedures
- Assess the capability of the existing PMO department staff and recommend appropriate roles and responsibilities
- Prepare the department knowledge transfer programme, which includes comprehensive on the job learning
- Ensure the Stage-Gate Process is applied consistently to projects
- Review, validate, and consolidate project monthly dashboards and reports, highlighting any concerns
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering
- At least 20 years’ experience in project management environments on large projects, including overall responsibility for setting up and running a PMO
- Excellent knowledge and experience in professional project management processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
- Previous involvement in continuous improvement and talent development
- Strong skills in management, personnel administration, and communication
- Previous experience working internationally and/or in global organisations
