Linum Consult’s client is currently seeking a Contracts Manager with expertise in service agreements and long-term agreements (such as facilities services contracts) to join them in Doha, Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading and managing the contracts department to ensure all business objectives are achieved
- Proposing and amendments or improvements to the procurement policies & procedures, ensuring compliance and improving procurement efficiency
- Setting annual goals, objectives, KPIs, and monitoring the progress of the department
- Managing and overseeing the tendering process and ensuring that all tenders are processed in line with the approved policies and procedures
- Overseeing the analysis of any repetitive orders to initiate new call-off agreements and monitoring the cap-values/expiry dates of all existing call-off agreements
- Developing an Annual Procurement Plan for the department to ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in the most efficient and timely manner
- Recruiting, developing, guiding, mentoring, and motivating staff to ensure that a professional workforce is in place to meet the needs of the department
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Business Administration or similar subject, ideally with a CIPS qualification
- At least 8-10 years’ experience Contract Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain Management, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Significant experience in service agreements; long-term agreements, such as facilities services contracts covering hard and soft services; facilities management agreements; corporate procurement and contracts management
- Excellent computer skills especially in MS Office and SAP e-Business suite
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Previous history of working internationally and in the Middle East
