Linum Consult’s client is an international EPC contractor, urgently seeking a Contract Manager with a background in Oil & Gas projects, to join their team on a 6-month renewable contract in Lyon, France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing main contract support and leading all contractual activities for the project
- Preparing the technical and legal submittals, negotiating and settling change orders, claims & amendments
- Protecting and pursuing the company’s interests and contractual rights, and building cases to defend against claims, as required
- Tracking risks, and pursuing any opportunities to consolidate and increase the project’s profit margin
- Keeping the company’s liability exposure under strict control
PROFILE
- Master’s degree qualification in Law or suitable subject
- 10 years’ post-graduation experience in Oil & Gas EPC contracting with an international company
- Strong technical knowledge of schedule analysis methodologies and Extension of Time claims
- Excellent technical English language skills and fluent in French (contracts will be written in English)
- Excellent commercial acumen and interpersonal skills
