CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is a world leader in specialised civil engineering. They are currently seeking a number of Operatives who are specialised in the installation of expansion joints on highways. This role can either be of fixed duration (6-12 months) or permanent if flexible for working across the UK. It will be based on site in London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing expansion joints on a significant highway rehabilitation project
- Performing daily inspections of work completed
- Solving problems that arise
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to required standards
- Ensuring that all quality assurance and company standards & project specifications are being met
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years’ experience of working on highway projects
- Excellent technical and hands-on knowledge of expansion joints
- A history of working for main contractors
- Ideally flexible and available to travel frequently across the UK
