Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation operating out of Qatar. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Workshop Maintenance Planner to join their team in Doha.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for a fleet of vehicles
  • Leading the planning and scheduling of all workshop maintenance and repair activities, balancing fleet performance with operational requirements
  • Ensuring all maintenance tasks are prioritised effectively and completed within agreed timelines
  • Tracking and reporting KPIs such as vehicle downtime, repair costs and maintenance backlog
  • Analysing performance data, identifying trends, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Preparing and maintaining detailed reports on maintenance performance, budgets, and KPIs for senior management review
  • Managing and supervising the workshop planning team, ensuring effective workload distribution, and high-performance standards

PROFILE

  • At least a Diploma qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Logistics, or Operations Management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a planning or logistics role, preferably in a maintenance or transportation environment
  • Certification or training such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Lean Six Sigma Certification, and/or Maintenance & Repair Management Certification
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills, able to analyse data and make reports, and strong process improvement and implementation skills
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Any Arabic language skills would be an advantage
