Linum Consult’s client is an international technical and engineering construction specialist. They are looking to hire a Site Manager to join their team on a data centre construction project in Belgium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the execution of the project, as well as directing construction and management of all site operatives and subcontractors
- Monitoring progress, overseeing delivery of materials, and carrying out safety checks and resolving any issues as they arise
- Coordinating the work schedules and deliveries, making sure the site is run efficiently
- Keeping senior management and clients updated regularly on progress
- Ensuring that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements
PROFILE
- 5-10 years’ experience managing a complex construction site
- Proven history of being hands-on and site-based, with strong site management and client-facing abilities
- Good understanding of technical construction drawings
- Familiarity with local construction codes, regulations, and health and safety standards
- High attention to detail, with a delivery-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills English, with any French or Dutch language skills an advantage
- The right to live and work in the EU
