Linum Consult’s client operates out of the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Senior PMO Manager to oversee their IT technology requirements. This role will be based in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the guidelines, standard operating procedures, and improvement plans for all IT technology requirements of the company
- Leading and managing IT projects, providing insightful guidance, mentorship, and proactive support to drive successful project execution and maximise team performance
- Driving the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of critical IT projects, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing systems, networks, and infrastructure
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
- Analysing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
- Identifying and addressing any operational inefficiencies or issues within the ITC department
- Integrating automation solutions with existing systems and configuring them for seamless data flow and reporting and tracking the impact of automation on efficiency, accuracy, and resource utilisation
- Monitoring and enhancing the security of the IT infrastructure and networks, implementing any necessary measures to protect against cyber threats
- Creating a comprehensive project reporting framework encompassing key performance indicators, metrics, and reporting templates tailored to different stakeholder needs
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar subject
- PMP certified, ideally with a PMO Professional certification, or Strategic Project Management Certificate or equivalent
- At least 12 years’ overall experience managing complex IT projects, with 4-5 years in a supervisory role within highly reputed companies, preferably in the Transport/Logistics industry
- Proficient in project management tools
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure and operations
- Fluent in spoken and written English
