Linum Consult’s client is a leading international finance company, currently seeking a Senior C# Developer to contribute to technical deliveries, regulatory projects, and platform enhancements. This role will be based in Prague.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyse new requirements to find the most appropriate technical solution and contribute to the overall system design
- Take responsibility and ownership of new feature developments
- Document designs and communicate them with the team
- Work on all aspects of analysis, design, implementation, and deployment of all software relating to the core data applications
- Focus on good code quality and high-test coverage, and participate in code reviews: sharing development best practices
- Design and implement applications and data flows for accuracy, timeliness, quality, and control
- Contribute to the delivery of complex projects in collaboration with global teams across the company, developing new or enhancing existing systems
- Set up and manage development meetings with application leads and business unit users, produce MI reports showing trend analyses
PROFILE
- Excellent technical knowledge of C# and .NET 4/4.5 framework, server-side development, Service Oriented Architecture using REST, DB technology (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
- Demonstrable knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design principles and database design fundamentals, unit and integration testing, and other software development practices
- Good experience in multithreading and asynchronous programming
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and development & agile tools (e.g. Jira, Git, TeamCity, and Agile Central)
- Ideally have awareness of Web Technologies – HTML5/JS/CSS; Cloud technologies – e.g. AWS; and DevOps
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An excellent analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
