Linum Consult’s client is an international technical and engineering construction specialist. They are looking to hire a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a data centre construction project in Belgium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining accurate cost reporting, monitoring, and forecasting for building & engineering works
- Managing and producing Bill of Quantities
- Visiting site, conducting surveys and measurements
- Estimating the financial implications linked to program developments, contingencies, unforeseen events, etc.
- Conducting price analyses
- Carrying out assessments of claims
- Conducting economic monitoring during the works phase
- Organising subcontract settlements
PROFILE
- Around 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying on major commercial building projects
- At least a degree qualification in either Quantity Surveying, Construction or Engineering
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Computer literate, especially with MS Office software
- Excellent communication skills English, with any French or Dutch language skills an advantage
- The right to live and work in the EU
