Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are urgently seeking an IT Governance Security Specialist to join their team on a short-term contract in Doha, with all expenses (housing, work visa, flight, medical, etc.) covered, receiving just a monthly salary for the duration of the contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing infrastructure designs and evaluating the compliance to applicable security standards
- Undertaking preventative measures alongside implementing, maintaining, and monitoring information security
- Defining the security policies and procedures and ensuring that IT governance measures are in place
- Using in-depth tools such as NGFW, IPS, WAF, NAC, DLP, IAM, PAM, AV, EDR, XDR, MDM, MAM, etc.
- Conducting information asset protection and prevention (DLP)
- Carrying out threat modelling, threat analysis, and threat hunting
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar subject
- 10 years’ minimum experience within the IT sector
- 3 years’ experience in a cloud engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms
- Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities
- Fluency in English is essential
