Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking an Inventory Lead with a background in Planning to join their team in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, sales trends, and operational needs
  • Leading inventory planning initiatives to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise risks of stockouts or overstocking
  • Analysing demand forecasts, sales trends, and seasonality to determine optimal inventory levels
  • Implementing stock optimisation strategies to balance inventory costs with operational requirements
  • Ensuring efficient sourcing and replenishment of critical parts and materials in collaboration with OEMs
  • Collaborating with procurement and OEM teams to align inventory plans with production schedules and delivery times

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or similar
  • At least 10 years’ experience in inventory management, planning, or logistics, preferably within the transportation sector
  • Holding one or more of the following: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Inventory Manager (CIM), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • Familiarity with working in the Middle East and/or international companies
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
