Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation based in Qatar. They are currently seeking an Infrastructure Manager to join their team in Doha.


  • Managing the PMC & CS teams to ensure specifications and detailed designs are as planned and according to regulations
  • Managing the construction team to ensure that the contractor delivers the project according to the specific design specs, timeline, and budget
  • Overseeing 3rd party work on construction
  • Indirectly managing the project controls to ensure the project is delivered according to schedule, timeline and quality
  • Ensuring compliance to budget and schedule of projects
  • Liaising between construction, engineering, & project controls
  • Deciding on committing internal resources based on department labour standards and benchmarks
  • Reviewing and recommending changes to the project timeline, making capital and resource decisions as projects hit critical milestones
  • Setting up a triage process to address any slippage in schedule or cost overruns, and mitigating any financial impact on the landed cost of the project


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, ideally with a master’s degree
  • At least 10 years’ experience in relevant practical project management and planning techniques to multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to adapt quickly to the company’s policies and standards, as well as new software
  • Previous background of working in Qatar, or have a strong understanding of the culture and customs of Qatar
  • Excellent knowledge of construction codes and standards
  • Good decision-making, leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Experience of working in multi-cultural environments
