Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are looking to hire an HVAC Engineer with experience in design and pre-construction to join their team in Avignon or Lyon, France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing the concept designs for the mechanical engineering works within large-scale commercial and industrial facilities, such as logistics complexes, pharmaceutical plants, and food production plants
- Reviewing and advising on technical specifications of the HVAC and Building Services equipment, and ensuring the constructability of design packages
- Coordinating with the design and construction teams
- Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and regulations
PROFILE
- At least 5-8 years of experience in similar roles on industrial facility construction projects
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC, MEP, and/or Building Services equipment
- Experienced in developing concept designs, proposals, and managing study agreements for the mechanical equipment for large-scale building complexes
- Strong familiarity with mechanical safety codes and regulations in France
- Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
