Linum Consult’s client is an international technical and engineering construction specialist, with a focus in complex industrial buildings. They are looking to hire an HSE Advisor to join their team in Belgium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishing and implementing the company’s health and safety policy to prevent injury, illness, damage, and wastage
- Promoting the company’s health and safety policy and ensuring that employees are made aware
- Carrying out regular safety inspections and recorded for all construction sites, with feedback provided to the project managers, Group HSE Director, and Project Director
- Ensuring that identified issues from previous reports have been dealt with accordingly in a suitable timeframe
- Reprimanding any member of staff failing to discharge their responsibilities with regards to health and safety
- Assisting project managers in the undertaking of accident investigations and compiling suitable closeout reports in a timely manner
PROFILE
- Suitable HSE vocational qualification
- Experience of working in a construction environment
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, with the ability to interpret it
- Effective time management and logical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
