Linum Consult’s client is a major luxury real estate firm in France. They are seeking a Finance Director with a background in the Real Estate sector to join their team in France.


  • Directing, controlling, and administering the financial strategy, planning, and activities or the company in line with overall corporate objectives
  • Developing and implementing financial strategy to facilitate the delivery of the company’s vision, mission, and strategy, and the achievement of strategic goals
  • Aligning the financial policies and procedures with the overarching company strategic objectives, vision, and core values and ethics
  • Building an environment that delivers robust financial and corporate governance by establishing state of the art financial processes and controls
  • Ensuring that statutory financial requirements are met as per applicable regulations (e.g., IFRS, French Law)
  • Leading the External Audit processes
  • Representing the company vis-à-vis the financial community (MOEF, banks, shareholders)
  • Authorising all project and corporate-related payments as per the Table of Financial Authority
  • Delivering and reporting over a robust and reliable work plan and budget, aligned to corporate strategic objectives to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the Finance function delivers reliable, timely, and accurate financial information and data that facilitates the CEO and Steering Committee in making decisions
  • Leading and mentoring the Finance leadership team


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, ideally with an MBA qualification and ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA, or CMA
  • 15 years’ experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a senior level finance executive role
  • Experience of managing and executing strategic financial plans
  • Previous history of successfully managing a budget and reporting to an Executive Team
  • Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and French regulations
  • Experience of working in a highly complex environment
  • A background of working on substantial luxury Real Estate projects, or for Real Estate companies
  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English
