Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Development & Project Delivery Director to oversee their Asian portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owning the end-to-end P&L of every project within the Asia Region
- Overseeing all project phases, ensuring compliance with HQ guidance, guidelines, and strategy, and enabling smooth coordination across Development, Delivery, Sales, Leasing, and Marketing
- Conducting market research and developing regulatory, technical, and financial feasibility reports for potential projects within the Asia region
- Developing recommendations on project execution strategy such as JV, or sole company ownership, etc.
- Creating and managing government relationships including getting requisite approvals
- Liaising with Asset Management, Programme Management, Contract & Procurement, and other departments for project controls functions
- Managing PMCs to ensure that projects are delivered within their allotted time and budget, and QHSE standards are met
- Managing all local stakeholders
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering subject with a master’s degree in management strongly preferred
- 15 years’ experience in contract management, project management, operations, and business development within the real estate industry
- Demonstrable history of successfully executing large development projects
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
