Linum Consult’s client, a global leader in civil engineering, is currently seeking to reinforce their operations in Australia. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Country Manager to grow an already profitable, robust, and sustainable business. The successful candidate will take the reins on a $50 million AUD turnover business and a solid pipeline and will be tasked with growing the business from this solid foundation. This role will be primarily based out of their Sydney office.


  • Providing overall leadership to the Australian entity
  • Creating and maintaining a strong network in Australia with local authorities, stakeholders and contractors to help secure new project opportunities
  • Leading the business development activity and providing input into new tenders
  • Overseeing the operations and ensuring projects are delivered to a high quality, with high standards of Health and Safety and to budget
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the senior management team
  • Providing regular reports and updates to the board
  • Being a positive ambassador of the company in Australia


  • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline
  • Experience in the Infrastructure sector in Australia
  • Good knowledge of the infrastructure market in Australia
  • Good understanding of contract management
  • Good understanding and experience of financial statements
