Linum Consult’s client is a major international company who are urgently seeking a Corporate Secretary for an initial 2-year contract, working 24 to 32 hours per week, with the potential to be extended to a permanent role, to be based in their office in Amsterdam, Netherlands


  • Taking board meeting minutes to accurately describe and effectively communicate the final decisions of the Board of Directors and implement all of the board’s pronouncements
  • Planning and executing all Board of Director meetings, including planning, creating agendas, inviting the appropriate attendees, reserving the meeting space, and covering all possible logistical issues. Overseeing the corporation’s shareholder meetings
  • Retaining and organising all of the company’s significant documents and records
  • Overseeing corporate compliance and governance
  • Managing contracts and agreements in conjunction with the internal teams of shareholders and the subsidiary
  • Reviewing and maintaining completed contract files to ensure routine administrative matters are resolved or completed
  • Managing invoices and maintaining precise records


  • Degree qualification in business, law, or similar subject
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar general office management role
  • Understanding of the energy sector, ideally with exposure to international companies within the energy industry
  • Demonstrable history of corporate governance standards and rules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in MS Office software
  • Detail orientated and organised, with the ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
