Linum Consult’s client is a major international company. They are currently seeking a Contracts Officer to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing contract management plans to anticipate lifecycle needs and compliance requirements, ensuring alignment with procurement objectives
  • Establishing procedures for contract management during the negotiation phase to ensure readiness for effective implementation and monitoring post-contract signature
  • Creating and maintaining a schedule for periodic contract reviews to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of contracts, identifying potential areas for improvement
  • Executing the preparation and evaluation of RFPs, ensuring that proposals are assessed fairly and transparently against established criteria
  • Negotiating payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions with selected suppliers, drafting final contracts in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Handling the vetting process for potential suppliers to ensure they meet the selection criteria effectively

PROFILE

  • Degree qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar subject
  • At least 8 years’ experience in similar roles in large companies, with a minimum of 3 years in positions of increasing managerial responsibilities
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, and external partners
  • Fluent in English and preferably Arabic as well
  • Currently working in Doha, with a good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture & working environment
