Linum Consult’s client is an established engineering services and consulting company currently seeking a Communication Manager to expand the company’s corporate communication strategy. This role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


  • Establish and/or maintain communication protocols within the company’s offices
  • Monitor the media for news about the company and the sectors it operates in
  • Write copy for the company in both Arabic and English. Copy includes press releases, feature stories, social media posts, brochures, posters, presentations, and speeches
  • Create content for and manage the company’s social media accounts: text, infographics, pictures, and videos
  • Create content for and manage relationships with regional media organisations pertaining to the industry
  • Organise, plan for, and manage a variety of internal and external events to promote the company’s brand among various stakeholders
  • Advise senior management on decisions affecting the company’s brand image
  • Establish a crisis communication plan


  • Degree qualification in corporate communication, public relations, journalism, business, or similar subject
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic
  • Excellent understanding of branding principles, and have demonstrable experience of implementing a company’s brand identity
  • Good understanding of news values, media protocols, the particularities of (textual and convergence) journalistic writing and other requirements that guarantee publishing
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and how to make successful, engaging content
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to be an articulate and creative communicator
