Linum Consult’s client is an international specialist in Data Centres. They are looking to expand their business across Europe, and are seeking a Commissioning Manager with a background in major data centre projects to join their team in London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the Lead Commissioning Manager in the development of a comprehensive strategic commissioning playbook and schedules for commissioning activities, tailored to each project’s unique specifications, timelines, and objectives
- Troubleshooting complex issues, resolving conflicts, and optimising system performance using your technical expertise and knowledge of commissioning methodologies
- Driving stakeholders, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and managing the resolution of any issues that may arise during the commissioning process
- Ensuring that the project and project team are sufficiently allocated the correct level of personnel, equipment, and materials for the commissioning activities
- Implementing a robust quality assurance process to ensure that all commissioning activities and gateways meet client expectations, contractual obligations, specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that the company’s health and safety procedures are routinely followed, and maintaining relevant health and safety records to meet regulatory standards and company policies
PROFILE
- Degree qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years’ experience in on-site mechanical & electrical commissioning, working on large-scale data centres
- Excellent collaborative and teamworking skills, with the ability to lead a small team of engineers
- Strong technical knowledge of commissioning elements for sustainability accreditation (BREEAM, WELL, LEED, NABORS)
- IT literate, with a demonstrable history of working with MS Office software and PowerBI
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
- The right to live and work in the UK
