Linum Consult’s client is an international firm well-established in Africa. They are urgently seeking a bilingual French & English Aftermarket Service Operations Excellence Manager, with a strong background in process improvement. This position will be based in Belgium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving the excellence of the Service Operations within the company’s Aftermarket department to enhance customer satisfaction, drive revenue, build brand reputation, and improve the overall success and competitiveness of the Aftermarket
- Optimising and strengthening the efficiency, effectiveness, and global excellence of the aftermarket service operations
- Analysing local operational processes to identify bottlenecks, improvement opportunities, resource optimisation, and enhance operational efficiency
- Leading the improvement and standardisation of operational processes and standards
- Identifying KPIs needed for service business development and operations efficiency analyses
- Defining measurable metrics to track process efficiency and effectiveness
- Staying informed and providing expert recommendations about industry standards related to workshop infrastructure, contamination control, tooling, and other operational programmes
- Supervising and supporting the development of digital tools throughout the company
PROFILE
- Degree in an Engineering subject
- At least 7 years’ experience in operations, with at least 3 years in process improvement
- Demonstrable history of operations management, project management, and process optimisation
- Technical and industrial background in heavy equipment within the construction or mining industry
- Methodical approach, with a meticulous, persuasive and diplomatic attitude
- Fluency in both French and English
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and SAP
