Linum Consult’s client is a world-leading major global contractor, building, maintaining and operating on some of the world’s biggest infrastructure projects. Their Mining division is currently in need of a Senior Business Development Manager to join their international team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working hand in hand with clients to develop their project from PFS to execution.
- Winning bids through client liaison
- Managing and submitting bids and ensuring they comply with the legal and financial requirements, pricing and materials teams
- Participating in the documentation process
- Carrying out business development by finding new customers and new contracts, with a focus on Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco
- Challenging the technical management’s prices, proposing innovative technical solutions, and developing good offers
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering subject, ideally with an additional qualification in Business
- Technical background in mining
- Experience in winning bids, writing contracts and proposals for the mining industry
- Excellent commercial acumen, with specialist knowledge of the prices of materials and services within the mining industry
- Highly skilled in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Fluency in spoken and written English, ideally with a good understanding of spoken French
