Linum Consult’s client is a world-leading major global contractor, building, maintaining and operating on some of the world’s biggest infrastructure projects. Their Mining division is currently in need of a Senior Business Development Manager to join their international team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working hand in hand with clients to develop their project from PFS to execution.
  • Winning bids through client liaison
  • Managing and submitting bids and ensuring they comply with the legal and financial requirements, pricing and materials teams
  • Participating in the documentation process
  • Carrying out business development by finding new customers and new contracts, with a focus on Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco
  • Challenging the technical management’s prices, proposing innovative technical solutions, and developing good offers

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering subject, ideally with an additional qualification in Business
  • Technical background in mining
  • Experience in winning bids, writing contracts and proposals for the mining industry
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with specialist knowledge of the prices of materials and services within the mining industry
  • Highly skilled in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, ideally with a good understanding of spoken French
